BASKETBALL SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Coach Gadson has developed a results based unique Basketball Specific Performance Training Program that has produced many collegiate athletes.
The specific performance training programs are designed based on years of training experience and developing elite level basketball players. Our coaches understand through experience that player development is more than dribbling a ball around chairs or conducting shooting drills without a purpose and expected results. Our unique program is designed to fully develop an athletes’ overall performance to enhance their ability to perform in competition. Combination training techniques are instructed to enhance players abilities to give them confidence and provide preventative measures for extended endurance.
Each training package is based on basketball specific movements that is tailored to each training sessions from our own experiences with the age level of the individual or group. Each session lasts 45 to 120 minutes although we recommend that any individual or group deciding to take part in the training program register for at least 4 sessions to ensure the necessary time needed for the player to understand, develop, and improve their skill set.
Our program covers shooting Mechanics (off catch, off dribble), Jab Step Series, Dribble Separation, Weak Hand Development, Finishing, Advanced Dribble Scoring Methods, Moving Without the Ball, Post and Perimeter Work, Triple Threat Separation, Footwork, Seeing the Floor, Physical and Muscle Conditioning, Defensive Work, Team Chemistry, Leadership, Basketball IQ, and much more.
Position Performance Training
BACK COURT POSITION TRAINING
(1) Point Guard and (2) Shooting Guard performance training is a combination of speed, balance, strength and durability. Our training is designed to enhance the ability on the position player to perform at a consistent and level of high.
Shooting guards ability to defend as well as score during competition is a key factor to sustain their ability to move without the ball and and become an elite defender.
FRONT COURT POSITION TRAINING
(3) Small Forward (4) Power Forward and (5) Center performance training takes on a more physical form of training that incorporates extensive footwork training, directional movement and position training.
On offensively our training methods are not the typical.
Our coaches and trainers are not just your everyday come in the gym and run around chairs or put up meaningless shots. Our performance training is the fusion of basketball movement and performance training.
Though over 40 years of professional training, first hand knowledge of how to develop players and increase players potential we have developed the best techniques to enhance a players abilities.
